w32/startpage.em, es un troyano que cuando se ejecuta modifica las siguientes entradas en el registro para cambiar las configuraciones del internet explorer:
hkey_current_user\software\microsoft\internet explorer\main
start page= http://searchportal.info
hkey_current_user\software\microsoft\internet explorer\main
search page= http://searchportal.info
finalmente crea la siguiente entrada en el registro para poder ejecutarse en cada reinicio del sistema:
hkey_current_user\software\microsoft\windows\currentversion\run
